Christmas eve day
The skies were blue. The snow covered the land and limbs. The day was glorious. The driving easy. As I drove over the bridge and saw the winding ice, I decided I need to capture this beautiful afternoon. I pulled over, ran back a 100 yards and snapped some pictures. But it all of a sudden was not as magnificent. And then I realized the sun was hidden behind a cloud. My kids were in the car, we had driven 3 hours and we needed to get to Grandma & Grandpas farm. The photo op passed, but scenery implanted in my mind. Snow for Christmas, after all!

Sara, I can't believe myself that I am writing a comment to you. It was so long since you posted your last pictures. I was waiting and waiting patiently. That is so great that you are back.
ReplyDeleteI think these are magnificent pictures because that is how nature looks on a very cold and cloudy day. There is a beauty in these pictures, the beauty of frozen little river and the beauty of bare trees covered with a little bit of snow.
It seems that everything fall asleep and standing still.
We don't have snow yet and everything is ugly and gray. These pictures are great and inspiring!!!!
I wish you a very Happy Year! May this Year will be the best year ever!
