  3. These are all great - I love the Turkish ones and coincidentally had "Taksim" from Jordi Savall's Istanbul album playing when I read this post!

    The stone patterning is interesting - and of course there are cigarette butts! :)

  4. There MUST be a story going on in the first shot. I can almost see the caption bubbles over the heads of each person. Brilliantly captured, Sara. Then again, they all are: Love how you've captured the tone of the theme so richly!

  6. Lovely collection Sara! I love Carmi's challenges and you've done a great job! I liked them for different reasons, and the third one least of all until Bob's comment made me have another look. Then I saw the loveliness of the varied sizes and patterns. Thanks Bob!
    I love the cigarette butts in the last pic too! :D
