Running water, lovely white dove
We drive through this Ottawa Valley town every year, Thanksgiving Weekend (Columbus Day weekend in the US). These pictures are from 2008. We stop at the water falls, I take some pictures. My sons birthday also happens sometime around Thanksgiving weekend so I take his annual pictures here at the 5 span bridge.
Right now where I live, 3 hours south of here, I do not see any signs of the leaves changing colors. I am curious to find out this weekend whether the leaves have already changed up north like they had 3 years ago...
Sorry, I do not have a picture of a white dove :). It's a jumble of words , partly from a song from my childhood. Running bear loved little white dove.

The colours in the trees around the house and those on climber on the house itself are gorgeous and a true reflection of the autumn. The boy is obviously enjoying himself too doing what boys should do.
ReplyDeleteLovely colours in your trees, and the old house is full of character. And so is your son! Nice shots :)
ReplyDeleteSara, these are all wonderful pictures. And some day you will have a beautiful picture of white dove. The colors of trees are so beautiful. And pictures of boy is just great. He is having fun . And you were able to capture his personality so well.

Each picture here could easily be framed and mounted in a gallery: They're pitch perfect, and breathtaking. But it's the ones of your son that seem to be sticking in my head: What energy and spirit he has, and what a great photographer-mom he has who's able to capture it to expertly.
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely pictures!
